"Amazing. It doesn't matter whether your playing vintage, boutique or just stock amps, the RC Booster is a must have in your pedal arsenal. If your sound is good now, it will be great with this pedal, first in the signal chain. Add some grit or crunch to your clean tone. Notes jump out with presence & tone that you dial in, preserving your amp's unique tone. I hardly ever turn it off. Use it with your lead channel and lookout! The AC Booster is a great low gain drive pedal. Smooth overdrive, very musical. Couple it with the RC Booster in front and you won't even use your lead channel anymore. Smooth creamy tone. I've tried these pedals in my studio and live with many kinds of tube configurations: EL34, 6L6, KT88 and 6V6. It improved the tone every time."
