XJ-1T 5-string 24Fret Three Tone Burst with HRI for Neil Damato

” This is my fourth Xotic bass and I love all of them. Within the past year I purchased an Ash/Maple and a very hip looking Sonic Blue Alder/Rosewood. They both have their own sonic fingerprint and each sounds amazing. I wanted a 24 fret XJ-1T 5-string but didn’t want to go for a stock color. I’ve alway been a fan of traditional looking basses so I decided to special order a 3-Tone Burst 24 Fret XJ-1T. When the bass arrived and I opened the case I nearly fell over. The bass looked killer! It far exceeded my expectations. Of course it feels just as good as my other Xotics and again this instrument has it’s own sonic fingerprint. The sound of this bass is more open and transparent than my other Xotic basses and has a piano like quality to it. The B string is tight, focused and articulate. The preamp is so versatile I can dial in any sound I’m looking for….vintage or modern. Bottom line is the fit, finish, sound and playability are second to none…at any price! “
